Step 1- Complete the ASW Google form. THIS FORM IS DUE BY JUNE 1ST, 2024!
Option 1. **PREFERRED ** Fill out the Google form. There are fields at the bottom of the form to submit your pictures, resume, and transcripts. You will be required to login to Google in order to use this form since you will be attaching documents.
Option 2. If you are unable to complete the online Google document, you may submit information via email. Fill out this form and email it with your pictures, resume, and transcript to [email protected]. You will email it ONCE and it will be sent to all representatives from the chairman. All forms and documents must be sent in a pdf form. Pictures must be a jpeg file.
This information sheet allows the active sorority groups in town to review each prospective new member's information and to recommend her to their sorority at the school she will be attending. If you are currently in college do not forget to include your involvement in any college activities and organizations.
THIS DOES NOT REGISTER YOU WITH YOUR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY'S SORORITY ASSOCIATION OR PANHELLENIC GROUP. To do so, you must contact your school's Panhellenic office directly. More information on sorority registration is available at individual school orientation and on many college websites. Additional forms and photos are usually required when you register with your college.
Step 2 – Complete a Resume.
Include information in the following categories for all four years of high school: high school activities, clubs, athletics, honors and awards, leadership, community service, volunteer work, church activities, social clubs and activities, employment, summer activities, hobbies, and interests. Save as a PDF file before sending it or upload in the Google form if you choose the second submission method.
Step 3- Select 3 photos.
The purpose of these photos are for the groups to recognize you, so your pictures need to be natural looking photos of you with your most current haircut, hair color, etc. Photos do not have to be done by a professional. Go outside in the yard on a pretty day and have your mother, sister, friend, anyone take some pictures of you. Use pictures of you by yourself...not with a pet, a group of friends, or a boyfriend. Prom, cheerleading, or team pictures are discouraged. Avoid pictures that are too dramatic. Include one headshot and one full length...then the third can be either. Make sure your photo file is saved as a .jpeg. Attach to your email or upload in the Google form if you choose the second submission method.
Step 4 - Request transcripts from the registrar at your high school or college.
Save as a PDF file before emailing it or upload in the Google form if you choose the second submission method.
Step 5- Submit your completed Google form or email your completed packet to [email protected]
Your "packet" should include: ASW Form, resume, transcript, and 3 pictures.
Step 6- Remember that you MUST ALSO register with your college or university
Go to your college or university's website and look for student life, campus organizations, Greek life, or Panhellenic. One of these key words should direct you to the steps you take to register for recruitment at your campus.
